American actor Casper Robert Van Dien Jr. was born on December 18, 1968.
He is most known for playing Johnny Rico, the title character, in the science fiction action movie Starship Troopers from 1997. He has also played a variety of parts in movies, TV shows, and direct-to-video releases, including the 2008 sequel to Starship Troopers, and Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. He frequently appears in the daytime and primetime soap operas.
Van Dien obtained a number of tiny roles in numerous films and television shows after relocating to Los Angeles.
