Casey Hayward Jr. is a cornerback for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons.
He was drafted in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and spent five seasons with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers.

The 33-year-old cornerback is currently not married. Hayward was highly sought after by countless colleges for his services coming out of high school.
He settled on Vanderbilt University because of the school’s academic achievements. In 2009, he was elevated to the starting lineup and appeared in every game, despite missing the majority of two games due to injury.
After recording 13 tackles against LSU, he was selected as defensive player of the week. In addition, he was named the team’s most valuable defensive back.

In terms of passes defended, he was first in the SEC and third in the NCAA. He had six interceptions, 70 tackles, and 17 passes defensed in 2010.

His parents are Casey and Tish Hayward. With 15 interceptions, Hayward tied the Vanderbilt career record. He also had 62 tackles and seven interceptions, the third most by a Vanderbilt player in a single season.
At the end of the season, the Walter Camp Foundation named Hayward a second-team All-American.
