Carol Higgins Clark was an American mystery writer and actor who died on June 12, 2023 (July 28, 1956). She was the former sister-in-law of novelist Mary Jane Clark and the daughter of mystery writer Mary Higgins Clark, with whom she co-wrote numerous Christmas books.

Regan Reilly, a well-known recurrent character, narrative lines involving male escorts, and pantyhose customs are all present in all of her works.
