Carl Wade Stiner was a four-star general in the United States Army who died on jUNE 2, 2022.
Stiner was involved in the apprehension of terrorists in the Achille Lauro hijacking and assisted with all special operations efforts during Operation Desert Storm, according to the office. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann addressed Stiner’s death on Twitter, saying he was sorry to hear the news.
