One of Canada’s funniest and brightest entertainers has died on Christmas Day

Candy Palmater, creator of The Candy Show on APTN, was 53.

The news of her death was confirmed by her partner and manager to the CBC News on the mid-noon of Saturday.

Palmater also hosted a radio show on CBC and appeared on several other CBC radio programs.

In addition, she had several acting roles and narrated the TV series Skindigenous.

Palmater also received a great deal of screen time in Vancouver director Shana Myara’s documentary, Well Rounded, which too aim at fatphobia. It had its local premiere at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival in August.

Now, the sad and heartwrenching news is that she is no longer with us and passed away very soon and Candy Palmater Cause of Death is still not revealed and stated by any of the close ones but it is speculated that she was suffering from some health issues for a long time.
