Can Anthony Joshua beat Mike Tyson?

I’d wager my house, my retirement, and even my dog on Iron Mike to quickly break Anthony Joshua’s porcelain chin.

If Mike felt on prolonging the suffering, Joshua would have lost to a Rooney-trained Mike Tyson in less than 2 rounds at any point in his career.

Can Anthony Joshua beat Mike Tyson?

Mike Tyson was faster, hit harder, and likely had more skill than Joshua.

Mike could actually box and punch considerably faster and louder than Joshua.

In reality, Mike possessed a chin and was a better boxer while dozing off than Joshua!

Mike’s quickness and defense are both quite strong.

He was a short, incredibly quick boxer in his prime with tremendous power and remarkable hand speed, but he was always open to taller, rangier opponents who could rotate out and away and control the fight with a jab.

Through continual movement, bobbing and weaving, slipping blows, strong defense, and being in good enough form to go the distance, he neutralized those competitors under Rooney.

Joshua has athleticism, good speed for such a large man, great strength, and courage. However, he lacks ring sense or instinctive boxing acumen.

In these situations, you should find him a great trainer to give him a voice in the corner and the proper training to protect him.

Never did Hearn do that.

In any matchup with Mike Tyson, this would put him in the back row.
