Camille Simoine Winbush is an American actress and recording artist who was born on February 9, 1990. She is best known for her roles as Vanessa Thomkins on The Bernie Mac Show, Lauren Treacy on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Emma Aimes on the short-lived sitcom Minor Adjustments.

Winbush was Anthony and Alice Winbush’s only child when he was born on February 9, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. She was homeschooled and educated by an on-set tutor while acting as a child. She never went to public school. When Winbush was young, she competed in gymnastics.

In 1994, Winbush made her acting debut as Lucy Wilkes on the television series Viper. She appeared in her first movie, Dangerous Minds, the following year. As Emma Aimes, the character’s daughter, on the sitcom Minor Adjustments (1995–1996), she made frequent appearances. In a Halloween episode of Brotherly Love, Winbush played Emma once more.

In the 1996 film Eraser, she played a young girl named Camille, and in the movie Ghost Dog: The Samurai’s Way (1999). Winbush portrayed Ashley Tomossian in the Disney cartoon Recess and had a recurring role on 7th Heaven.
