Cameron Hugh Davis, an Australian professional golfer, was born in Sydney, Australia, on February 21, 1995. Davis had a successful amateur career. In 2015, he won the Australian Amateur and placed second in the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship, trailing only Jin Cheng.
In addition to being the individual champion, he was a part of the Australian squad that took home the Eisenhower Trophy in Mexico in 2016. Davis defeated fellow Australian Curtis Luck by two strokes in the individual event, and the Australian team won the team event with a score of 19 strokes.
Cameron had a successful amateur career, winning the Australian Amateur as well as the Eisenhower Trophy in both the individual and team divisions. Since 2018, he has participated frequently on the PGA Tour and has won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in 2021.
