Cameron Tyler Jordan, an American football defensive end for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League, was born on July 10, 1989. (NFL). He was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft after playing college football for California.

Jordan spent his time at the University of California, Berkeley, playing defensive end. He received instruction from Bob Gregory, the defensive coordinator, and head coach Jeff Tedford. From 2007 to 2010, he started 32 of the 51 games he was eligible to play. After two straight honorable mentions in All-Pac-10 seasons in 2008 and 2009, Jordan earned first-team All-Pac-10 selection and honorable mention All-American (Pro Football Weekly) honors as a senior in 2010.

He finished his collegiate career with 175 tackles, 34.0 tackles for loss (-122 yards), and 16.5 sacks (-89 yards), placing him just outside the school’s all-time top 10 in both categories. He also had one interception for three yards, five pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries for a total of 41 yards and two touchdowns.
