Callum Wilson, a striker for Newcastle, has to travel a long way to visit his family on his days off because they live in Poole, Dorset, on the south coast.
Wilson, though, informed the Sun that he would now relocate them to Tyneside so he could conduct recuperation sessions when he was not scheduled to train.
Wilson, a former Bournemouth striker, won four caps in 2018–19 and scored once against the Americans, but he hasn’t played for the Three Lions since.
However, when healthy, he has a solid record of scoring in the Premier League, with 20 goals in 44 games since joining the Toon in 2020 for over £20 million.
His fitness at Newcastle has been hampered by hamstring, thigh, and calf niggles, but two goals on the penultimate day of the season to send Burnley to the Championship served as a welcome reminder of his abilities.
This season he is hoping to hit the right note and stay injury free.
