Afro-pop singer Wendy Shay has weighed in on the ongoing beef in the female fraternity.
Female musicians in the industry, especially Sista Afia and Eno Barony, have recently launched lyrical attacks against each other.
Even though some people have spoken against the beef, it seems most Ghanaians are enjoying it and Wendy Shay isn’t afraid to hide her feelings.
According to the “All For You” singer, she approves of the beef, saying it’s ‘women empowerment’.
She said in a tweet on Monday, May 11, that she sees the beefing artistes showcasing their talent, adding that they are gradually waking up.
“U call it beef, I call it women empowerment,” she said in a tweet. “…all I see is women showcasing their talent ..female artists are gradually waking up.”
