Caleb Jarod Huntley (born September 15, 1998) is an American football running back for the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons (NFL). He attended Ball State University and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Falcons in 2021.
Huntley was born on September 15, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up there. He was a four-year letterman at Locust Grove High School. He was a varsity running back for four years and concluded his career with 3,135 yards and 30 touchdowns. He ran for 1,487 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2016, earning Region 4/5A Offensive Player of the Year honors.
He rushed for more than 100 yards in every game of the 2016 season and holds the single-season and running yards per game records at Locust Grove. According to 247Sports, he was a three-star prospect.
Huntley had committed to Western Kentucky, but they opted not to include him on the squad due to low high school grades. Instead, he committed to Ball State.
As a freshman in 2017, he played in all 12 games and started the final seven, gaining 1,003 yards on 210 attempts to lead the team. He is only one of two freshmen in school history to have run for more than 1,000 yards.
