Condé Nast’s Vanity Fair is a monthly magazine covering popular culture, fashion, and current events published in the United States.

From 1913 till 1936, the first edition of Vanity Fair was published. The magazine agency has honored a brilliant actress in their latest issue.

Caitrona Mary Balfe, a former fashion model, and actress from Ireland got the nod. She was born on born 4 October 1979. She is the fourth born child in a family of seven.

She took the bold choice to stop modeling and pursue acting in her late twenties.

This decision has clearly paid off, as she has not only been nominated for four Golden Globes, but she has also won multiple prizes, including a BAFTA and a People’s Choice Award.

She is best known for her portrayal of Claire Fraser in the Starz drama series Outlander (2014–present), for which she has received the Scottish BAFTA, the Irish Film and Television Award, two People’s Choice Awards, three Saturn Awards, and four Golden Globe Award nominations for Best Actress in a Television Series.

This is an accolade she will cherish considering the fact it sees her doing the things she once loved.
