Hasaacas Ladies, the reigning champions of the Ghana Women’s Premier League, have been drawn into Group B for the upcoming 2024 CAF WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers. The draw, which took place at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, has pitted them against tough opponents from Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Niger.

With five Ghanaian league titles under their belt, Hasaacas Ladies will be facing off against Nigeria’s Edo Queens, Burkina Faso’s Omnisports Etincelle, and Niger’s AS Garde National as they aim to secure a spot in the 2024/25 CAF Women’s Champions League. The team is determined to make their mark on the continental stage once again, following their runners-up finish in the inaugural edition back in 2021.

The qualifiers for the WAFU B zone are set to begin on August 10 in Abidjan, with the final taking place on August 23, 2024. The competition is expected to be fierce as teams battle it out for the chance to represent their region and compete for glory in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Hasaacas Ladies will be looking to build on their domestic success and experience as they navigate a tough group and strive to secure their spot among Africa’s top women’s football clubs. The team is eager to showcase their talent and prove themselves on the continental stage once more.
