Communications Director for the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, has pledged the full support of the association to Dreams FC as they aim to reach the CAF Confederation Cup final.
In an interview with Akoma FM, Twum expressed his pride in Dreams FC’s performance, highlighting the FA’s dedication to assisting the team in their upcoming semi-final against Zamalek FC.
Following a hard-fought victory over Stade Malien of Mali, Dreams FC secured their spot in the semi-finals. Despite a 2-1 win in the first leg and a 1-1 draw in the return match, the Ghanaian side advanced with a 3-2 aggregate score.
Twum stated, “Dreams FC has done us proud, and the Ghana FA will stand behind them as they prepare to face Zamalek and hopefully reach the finals. Their performance thus far shows that they have the potential to achieve great things this time around.”
The reigning FA Cup champions, Dreams FC, are currently in Cairo, where they held a training session today in anticipation of the crucial upcoming match. The team is in good condition, with no significant injury concerns ahead of the game.
