Dreams FC has officially announced their 19-man squad for their upcoming trip to Egypt as they prepare to face Zamalek in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals this weekend.

The Ghanaian FA Cup holders are determined to continue their impressive run in the competition and secure a spot in the finals.

In addition to the players, a total of ten technical team members and officials have also embarked on the journey to Egypt to provide support and guidance for the crucial game. This will be the first time Dreams FC will be competing in a continental championship and they are eager to make a mark on the big stage.

The team, based in Dawu, reached the semifinals after defeating Stade Malien in the quarterfinals, setting up a highly-anticipated showdown with Zamalek. Dreams FC has left for Egypt in advance to acclimatize and fine-tune their strategy for what is expected to be a tough battle on the continental stage.

Coach Karim Zito expressed confidence in the fitness of his players, with only Sylvester Simba reporting slight pains in his thigh. The rest of the squad is in top condition and ready to face Zamalek in the first leg at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday. The return leg will take place in Kumasi in two weeks’ time.

The squad for the crucial encounter includes familiar names such as Solomon Agbasi, Emmanuel Danquah, and John Antwi. The technical team and officials, led by Coach Zito, are also fully prepared to guide the team to victory.

Dreams FC fans are eagerly awaiting the clash against Zamalek, with kick-off scheduled for 6pm.
