Cade York is an American football placekicker who plays for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL. He was born on January 27, 2001.
He attended Prosper Senior High School in Texas where he played both soccer and football. York was drafted by the Cleveland Browns with the 124th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Cade York is now having a significant start in his rookie NFL season. He had a remarkable collegiate career at LSU and became the only kicker selected in this year’s NFL draft.

John York, Cade’s dad was recognized with the ‘Dream Champion Award’ and York was chosen to be an ‘Under Armour All-American’. “I was super excited,” York said. “It was back in the middle of summer at a kicking camp.”
Cade was born to John York and Keisha York. John and Keisha raised Cade in Mckinney-Texas where they home schooled him for three and half years.
York has two siblings namely Peyton York his older sister and Carson York his younger brother.
Cade’s desire for perfection has gotten him where he is today. In an interview with Cleveland.com, Cade said:“You strive for perfection,”. “But any small miss, the closer you get to perfection, the better you’re going to be.”
