Police say a white shooter murdered 10 people and injured three others, the most of whom were Black, in a racially motivated violent extremist shooting in Buffalo on Saturday and live-streamed the crime to Amazon-owned Twitch.

According to a law enforcement official, detectives are also looking into a tirade the gunman put online, which purports to detail the attacker’s racist, anti-immigrant, and anti-Semitic convictions, including a wish to expel all individuals of European origin from the United States.

Buffalo shooting live-stream footage: Is it still online?

The video was pulled in less than two minutes, according to a Twitch spokeswoman.
Versions of the Buffalo shooting video, however, swiftly migrated to other sites and haven’t always vanished immediately.
That is however faster than the 17 minutes it took Facebook to remove a comparable video webcast by a self-described white supremacist who massacred 51 people in two New Zealand mosques in 2019.
According to police, the alleged gunman, Payton Gendron shot 11 Black and two white victims at a Buffalo supermarket, mimicking a deadly incident in a German synagogue in October 2019 that was also recorded on Twitch.
