Falcon’s sister Diana Wolgamott verified to various sites, including local ABC affiliate ABC7, that he died of natural causes in Long Beach, California.
Other family members, friends, and collaborators have also shared the news on social media, including Toni Basil, who honored Falcon on Twitter.
Falcon is also well-known for his numerous collaborations with Michael Jackson, most notably his performance in “Smooth Criminal,” the centerpiece of the 1988 film Moonwalker. Falcon is shown performing the “anti-gravity lean” alongside Jackson.
Falcon demonstrated his locking abilities in the cult classic film directed by Joel Siberg, in which he played Electro Rock 1.
He also starred in the Breakin’ sequel Electric Boogaloo, an episode of Benson in 1985, Captain EO the following year, and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey in 1991. He also choreographed the animated feature Thumbelina in 1994.
