Young Ghanaian forward Evans Botchway has secured a move to Swedish club IF Brommapojkarna from Accra Lions FC in the Ghana Premier League.

The 18-year-old has signed a permanent deal with his new team after catching the eye with his performances for the Lions.

Botchway broke into the Accra Lions’ first team in 2023 and has already made a significant impact in the league, playing in 19 matches and scoring two goals. Known for his exceptional pace and dribbling abilities, Botchway has gained a reputation as one of the most dangerous wingers in the league, often leaving defenders in his wake.

In addition to his club success, Botchway has also represented Ghana at the U20 level, making three appearances and scoring two goals for the Black Satellites. His promising talent has earned him a move to Europe, albeit at the cost of missing out on the African Games.

Having made three appearances for Accra Lions FC this season, Botchway is now eager to make his mark in Europe with IF Brommapojkarna. The young forward is looking forward to showcasing his talents on a bigger stage and taking the next step in his career.
