Brock Purdy is a professional football player. He currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He earned the label the Mr. Irrelevant of the year in 2022 after he was selected by the 49ers as the final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Purdy hails from Queen Creek, Arizona, and played high school football for Perry High School. His high school football career during the 2015 season as a sophomore for Perry High School which had just been established.
During his time there, he helped established Perry High School as a football power in Arizona, competing against more established powerhouse programs.
He was honored with Gatorade’s Football Player of the Year Award and was named The Arizona Republic’s high school football player of the year.
He decided to pursue his college football career at Iowa State University over the other offers he received. He became the starter at Iowa after starting quarterback Kempt got injured.
