Brain Charles Houston is a New Zealand-Australian pastor and evangelist who founded the Hillsong Church in 2001.

Brain Houston was born on February 17, 1954, to Frank Houston and Hasel Houston in Auckland, New Zealand.

He is married to Bobbie Houston. They have been married since 1977.

Frank Houston and his wife Hazel Houston had two sons, Joel Houston and Ben Houston, and a daughter Laura Houston.

Brain Houston was the National President of the Australian Christian Churches, the Assemblies of God in Australia for twelve years, from 1997 to 2009.

Brain Houston’s father, Wiliam Francis Frank Houston was a Pentecostal Christian Church in the Assemblies of God in New Zealand and Australia.

The founder of Sydney Christian Life Center was born on April 22, 1922, in Whanganui, New Zealand. He died at age 82.

After Frank Houston’s death on November 8, 2004, Brain Houston took over the leadership of his father’s church and subsequently merged it with his to create Hillsong Church.

Frank Houston was caused of sexually harassing nine boys before his death.

In 2015, an investigation into the sexual allegations revealed that Brain Houston failed to report his father’s abuse to the police authority.
