After earning his degree from Glasgow’s Royal Conservatoire (then known as the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama), Brian started acting all throughout Scotland in theaters like Perth Rep and The Traverse in Edinburgh and The Citizens, The Tron, and The Arches in Glasgow.
Black Watch and Anything That Gives Off Light (The Team) are two previous productions with National Theatre of Scotland, and I worked there as an artistic associate in 2008–2009.
The theatrical group headquartered in Arbroath called Poorboy, which specializes in site-specific and promenade performance, employed Brian as a Company Associate for a number of years. Brian has acted in London’s Royal Court, The Bush, The Almeida, and the National Theatre in addition to his work in Scotland.
Additionally, he has done a lot of work for The Globe and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
He performed the title role in a Dominic Hill-directed production of Hamlet at The Citizens Theatre in 2014.
