Brian Brobbey scores for Ajax in win over FC Twente

Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey put on a show-stopping performance to lead Ajax to a 2-1 victory over FC Twente in the Eredivisie on Sunday.

The 22-year-old striker played for 68 minutes and played a crucial role in securing the win for his team at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Despite FC Twente taking the lead with a goal from Ricky van Wolfswinkel in the 31st minute, Ajax fought back in the second half with Brobbey finding the back of the net in the 59th minute to equalize. The young talent was assisted by Kenneth Taylor, setting up the thrilling equalizer that got the fans on their feet.

With only nine minutes left on the clock, Steven Bergwijn scored the winning goal for Ajax, ensuring the team took home all three points. Brobbey’s performance has been exceptional this season, with the forward scoring 20 goals and providing 9 assists in 38 games across various competitions.
