Brett Hadley, a star of “The Young and the Restless,” has passed away. The Hollywood Reporter states that Brett, 92, passed away on Wednesday. His close buddy Darcy Lee informed him of his passing.

As the father of Doug Davidson’s Paul Williams, Hadley entered the daytime drama in 1980 and stayed with it until 1990, when his character abruptly vanished.

Hadley, who was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 25, 1930, attended the University of New Mexico to study acting before beginning his professional life at Chicago’s famous Goodman Theatre.

Brett Hadley made his television debut in 1969 on an episode of NBC’s The Name of the Game. He later made ten different appearances on 10 episodes of ABC’s Marcus Welby, M.D.

Additionally, Brett Hadley had roles in the movies The Mad Bomber (1973), Funny Lady (1975), Next of Kin (1989), The Babe (1992), Police Story, Kojak, The Waltons, The Rockford Files, The Colbys, and Highway to Heaven. Hadley’s most recent performance was in the 2015 comedy short Dreamcatchers by Anthony Lawrence. (ANI)
