Brereton Chandler Jones was an American politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He died on September 18, 2023, at the age of 84.
Brereton C. Jones was once a member of the Republican Party until 1975 when he decided to join the Democratic Party. He is known to have fought a great deal in terms of maintaining a suitable healthcare program for the state he served.
Brereton C. Jones served as the 58th governor of Kentucky from 1991 to 1995. Before being the State’s governor he served as the 50th lieutenant governor of Kentucky from 1987 to 1991.
