Brandon Staley is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He served as the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive coordinator in 2020. He also served as the Denver Broncos’ and Chicago Bears’ assistant coach for a spell.

Brandon Staley was born to Linda Staley and Bruce Staley. Breast cancer claimed Linda’s life in 2004. Staley has survived cancer.He stresses the teaching component of his work, which is a daily reflection of his mother’s influence. Linda was an educator, whom her son referred to as “the best I’ve ever seen.”
Given what cancer had done to his parents, Brandon Staley was unrelenting in his fight. When Brandon and his twin brother Jason were little, their father Bruce received a cancer diagnosis. He has since survived the disease twice. When they were twelve years old, their mother Linda was given a breast cancer diagnosis. She passed away in 2004 following a nearly ten-year illness.
The 38-year-old Staley met his objective when he was chosen head coach by the Chargers in January, but the true reward for beating cancer came much sooner when he raced through the Northern Illinois facility’s hallways.
