Bram Inscore was born in 1982 started playing the bass in high school, and attended USC to study orchestral music and jazz. He left college to tour with musicians including Beck, Twin Shadow, and Charlotte Gainsbourg and soon turned his attention to songwriting and production. As a solo musician, he released an eponymous album under the name B.R.A.M. in 2009.
