Scott Parker, the manager of Bournemouth, has hinted that he does not believe Liverpool will present a weaker threat when the two clubs square off at Anfield on Saturday.

The Merseyside giants have struggled to gain any points in their first three Premier League games against Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Manchester United.

In the latter of those games, Liverpool’s fierce opponents, who entered the contest coming off consecutive losses, outplayed and outfought them.

It’s been said Bournemouth are going to Merseyside at the appropriate time because Jurgen Klopp is also dealing with a long injury list.

Parker, though, disagrees, stating that Liverpool will be more driven to get back on track in a press conference on Friday.

“I’m sure they’ll be the first to realize it hasn’t gone how they intended it to go, but we’re playing against a world-class team, a well-coached side, an amazing manager, and against a team that are likely looking for a reaction,” the Englishman said.

The Cherries enter the contest with three victories in as many games, victories against Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Arsenal.

That streak of contests coincided with Parker’s own fitness struggles, most notably those involving Dominic Solanke, a former Liverpool player and last season’s leading scorer.
