In the summer of 1989, Mostyn-Owen completed her law exams, and traveled to Brussels with Johnson; afterwards he became the European contributor for The Daily Telegraph. As his career took off, their alliance collapsed. During their six years of marriage, the couple broke up once, and back then Marina Wheeler became pregnant with Boris’ child in 1993. Allegra stopped their relationship.
