Boris Yakovlevich Dubrovsky aka Boris Dubrovskiy lost his life through the cold hands of death at the age of 83, on August 14, 2023, and was best received as a Russian rower who had his best achievements in the double sculls, partnering with Oleg Tyurin. In this event, they won Olympic gold in 1964 and four medals at European and world championships from 1962 to 1965.
