According to the autopsy report that KTLA was able to receive on Friday, the pregnant model who was discovered dead inside a downtown Los Angeles apartment last month had been chained, beaten, gagged, and wedged within her own refrigerator.
On September 12, Maleesa Mooney, 31, was found dead in her South Figueroa Street residence after police checked on her wellbeing.
According to the medical examiner’s report, she had blunt force injuries to her head, body, and arms; this suggests that “homicidal violence” was the cause of her death.

Mooney had her wrists and ankles shackled together, with “miscellaneous electronic cords and clothing items” tying the binds to one another behind her back.
She shoved a gag made out of an item of clothing into her lips.
Mooney’s system had traces of alcohol and cocaine, according to toxicology testing.
On Los Angeles, millions of fruit flies will be released.
The medical examiner stated, “The blunt force traumatic injuries observed at autopsy are generally not considered life-threatening on their own.” “However, these injuries suggest Ms. Mooney was likely involved in [a] violent physical altercation prior to her death, based on the circumstances of her finding.”
The killing has not resulted in any arrests.
