Bob Stephenson was born in the beautiful city of Camarillo, California, where he also enjoyed playing baseball, soccer, baseball, skateboarding, and boogie boarding. He also had a sizable Lego collection and watched a lot of television.
John Stephenson, a government mechanical/civil engineer, and Olive Stephenson, a master’s-educated nurse, raised him as a latchkey child.
Following his closest friend to The College of Idaho, where he played NCAA soccer, he attended the prestigious boarding school Stevenson in Pebble Beach, California, where he develop and built sets for the theatrical department.
After spending two years in Idaho, he transferred to the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he continued his long history of making excellent friends and getting bad grades. He moved to Los Angeles, started working as a PA, and started writing after graduating.
