The passing of well-known photographer and filmmaker Philip Pepsin, also known as Kaptured Pixels, has left the creative community in disbelief.
Some sources, such as music and industry analyst Eric Toscar, have reported that Pepsin passed away in a fatal accident while traveling to a filming.
He was well-known in the artistic community for his extraordinary talent and love of what he did, and his abrupt departure has left a gap in that regard.
Pepsin has made a tremendous impact on the Ghanaian music business and has left a unique legacy.
He had collaborated with some of the biggest acts in Ghanaian music, including Malcolm Nuna, Burna Boy, Black Sherif, DJay, Joey B, Mr. Eazi, and the Dance With Purpose Academy.
In addition, he served as the official photographer for numerous performers, events, and some of the most recognizable and famous music videos ever made, such Burna Boy and Black Sherif’s “Second Sermon Remix.”
Many have paid their respects to him and sent their sympathies to his family and friends via social media.
