Ghana will play the Ugandan U20 team in the men’s football championship on March 22 as a consequence of the outcome. In the other semi-final, Congo was beaten by Uganda.

Both teams tried their hardest not to concede throughout the match at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The lone goal of the match was scored in the 83rd minute after a smooth play by the Satellites resulted in a cutback into the box from the left side of the Senegalese defense.

Replace As the squad held on, Michael Ephson was in the correct spot and almost touched the oncoming cross into the Senegalese net.
