Bismark is a former player at Hearts of Oak. He was born in Kokomlemle in Accra.
At the start of his career, he joined the rainbow club in 1975 when he was 17. He helped the Accra hearts of oak win the second position twice in the African cup of champions clubs.
Bismark played for hearts of oak for five years before leaving to Europe.
