William John Horschel popularly known as Billy Herschel is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour.
Horschel embarked on his professional journey in 2009, successfully securing a 2010 PGA Tour card through qualifying school in December of that year. Unfortunately, a wrist injury limited his participation to just four PGA Tour events in 2010, without making any cuts.
In December 2010, he once again obtained his Tour card through qualifying school, serving as a backup in case he didn’t earn enough for his Tour Card due to his medical extension. His first successful cut came in February 2011 at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, marking his first in eleven PGA Tour starts, resulting in a T13 finish. By the end of the season, Horschel ranked 140th on the money list, granting him conditional status for the upcoming 2012 season.
