Bill Turnbull was a journalist and radio show host who hailed from England. Over the course of a decade working at BBC, Turnbull established himself as one of the best journalists and presenters in the country.
He hosted the BBC Breakfast Show from 2001 up until 2016 when he moved to Classic FM to work as a senior presenter.
The 66-year-old Guildford native revealed in March 2018 that he had been diagnosed with prostrate cancer and was undergoing treatment. He took a leave of absence from his job as a show host as the treatments began to take a toll on him.
Bill who has a wife and three children is reported to have passed away on August 31, 2022.
