American television producer William Fredrick Geddie better known as Bill Geddie has died. Bill was born July 17, 1955, in San Antonio, Texas, United States. He had his collegiate education at the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated in 1977, with a degree majoring in communications and film.
Shortly after school, he started working at KOCO-TV, in Oklahoma City. He is best known for being co-creator and executive producer of ABC Daytime’s The View, on the ABC television network.
Aside from being a television producer, Bill was a screenwriter as well. He wrote the script for Unforgettable, a movie starring Ray Liotta and Linda Fiorentino. ABC Entertainment named him as executive producer for Tamron Hall on January 22, 2019, however, in March 2020, Bill left the show.
