A number of Kumawood artists, including actors and actresses, have put their support behind former President John Dramani Mahama’s candidacy as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer in the 2024 elections.
Big Akwes, Christiana Awuni, Sergeant Dee, Elorm Aba, Theophilus Annan, and others are among the renowned names that have endorsed Mahama, bringing the total number of Ghanaian entertainment industry supporters to about 18.
The support was made public via a 30-second film in which the celebs wore NDC souvenirs, including Mahama-branded T-shirts.
In the video, they expressed their support for Mahama, underlining that their endorsement is not limited to a specific date.
