One of America’s iconic Hollywood veterans, Betty White has died. She was confirmed dead on Friday, December 31, 2021.
She died at the age of 99, just three weeks to her centenary birthday.
According to reports by TMZ, law enforcement confirmed that Betty White died at her home on Friday morning.
Betty White was famous for her lead role as Rose Nylund in “The Golden Girls,” which ran from 1985 to 1992. She’d been in TONS of other big hits throughout her life though.
On Thursday, December 29, she disclosed in what would be her last interview that her secret to long life was to avoid “anything green.”
Betty White told People reporters Liz McNeil and Dory Jackson that she avoided “anything green” as a part of her diet.
“I guess it’s working,” she said, adding that “I’m so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age,” she said. “It’s amazing.”
