Betty “Betsy” Lee Seff is the mother of Walter Isaacson. She is Jewish and was born on February 18, 1930, in Alexandria, Louisiana, United States. She was a loving, caring, and supportive mother and wife. She was a real estate broker.

Betty was happily married to her husband who was a kindly Jewish distracted humanist engineer with a reverence for science named Irwin Isaacson and the couple was blessed with two children. She is also the grandmother of Betsy Isaacson.

Betty passed away on March 15, 1985, in Destin, Florida, United States, at the age of 55 and her course of death is yet to be revealed.
