Bethany Louise Mooney is an Australian professional cricket player born January 14, 1994. She normally plays for the national cricket team as a batter in all three formats of the game.

Usually, at the local levels, she is positioned to play wicker-keeper-better for Queensland Fire. Mooney later in 2020, joined the Perth Scorchers and from there, she has been playing since.

At the conclusion of the ICC women’s T20 World Cup 2020, Mooney was awarded the world’s number one batter in Women’s Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket.

In 2014, it was reported she quit her studies to focus more on cricket. Mooney made her debut in 2010, for the Queensland Fire in the Women’s National Cricket League. She was only 16 years old by then and had celebrated her birthday four days prior.
