Bechem United defender Francis Acquah has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for April by the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Acquah was recognized for his outstanding performance during the month, which included receiving the NASCO player of the match award twice in a row and scoring two league goals in just 450 minutes of play.
In recognition of his achievement, Acquah will be awarded with a 43-inch NASCO television set from ElectroLand Ghana Limited. The GFA made the announcement on Monday, praising Acquah for his exceptional contributions to his team’s success throughout April.
The defender was up against tough competition for the award, including Berekum Chelsea attacker Stephen Amankona and Evans Osei Wusu from FC Samartex 1996. However, Acquah’s consistent performance and impressive statistics ultimately helped him secure the prestigious Player of the Month title.
Acquah expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating that he is honored to receive the award and is grateful for the opportunity to showcase his skills on the field.
