Bazim, known formally as Bazim Martins Chukwuji, an experienced and popular driver from Ondo State, died at 48.
Bazim Chukuji unfortunately fell and died while viewing football at Umuocha Primary School, Akumazi Umuocha, in the Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Prior to the incident, the deceased was in excellent health and was doing really well, as noted and observed by the community on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Chukwuji reportedly slumped while watching TV and was taken to a nearby hospital; however, before they reached the hospital, he gave up, so it seemed that all of their efforts had been ineffective.
Many people who knew the late Bazim noted how hardworking, courteous, honest, and modest he was—a man whose simplicity is widely known.
As for Bazim’s sudden death, nobody could determine what caused it; some blamed it on high or low blood pressure, while others thought it had a spiritual origin.
The late Bazim Martins Chukwuji, who before his demise was a keke driver, is survived by his wife and children. The deceased Bazim’s body remained in the mortuary while the funeral plans were being finalized.
