The flagbearer has muscularly vetoed claims of duplicity by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia near President Akufo-Addo.
However, according to the Communications Director for the Lineup, Nana Akomeah, the NDC’s efforts to colliery Bawumia in contradiction of the President are ineffectual because Bawumia relics are aligned with the current government’s achievements and challenges.
Also, the aforementioned and other remarks respond to the NDC’s Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi’s assertion that Bawumia betrayed Akufo-Addo in his recent public lecture, revealing his vision for the country if elected.
“Akufo-Addo is looking like a lonely old man. I am just feeling pity for him. Precisely, this is the moment and period that his Vice President, whom he entrusted with the management of the economy, has to stand by him and say, ‘Look, we take collective responsibility, he said strongly with caution.
He added too that, “We have failed; we could have done things better; we have failed,” Sammy Gyamfi claimed in a recent interview.
Meanwhile, Nana Akomeah has said and made the public aware that the claims are not just lies but a calculated attempt by the NDC to generate a chunk between the President and the Flagbearer.
Mr. Akomeah, however, also added, “The core will come up properly after the propaganda dies down, and it will be a contest of ideas, and in the contest, John Mahama cannot win.” He asserted vehemently.
The party-political troposphere has been sensitive since the recent public lecture by the known formal NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia.
In addition, it was also noted that this is the first time he has spoken comprehensively about his apparition for the entire country since he was elected as a flagbearer.
The address by Dr. Bawumia focused on the conversion of certain strategies presently executed by the government and reiterated his obligation to cultivate and make the budget and the economy better if elected.
