Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy, the previous head of the Church of Pentecost, has been praised by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Dr. Baumia spoke during his funeral, calling him a statesman who led a morally upright life.
Seldom can one say of someone that they have accomplished their life’s job and done so with distinction. However, we can undoubtedly say that about the man we are all here to honor.
“He was well known for his honesty, integrity and discipline. He was an outstanding servant of the church, the Ghanaian people, and the public interest. His objective was always the advancement of Ghana and even in his days of ill health, he continued to make critical interventions in our nation’s discourse,” he said.
He continued, “He leaves a big void not only in the church of Pentecost but in the wider Christian space as he was a constant source of good, rich Christian counsel”
Former President John Dramani Mahama was among the prominent guests who attended the funeral service for the former chairman, which was conducted in the State House forecourt.
The clergyman reportedly passed away at his German residence following a protracted illness.
