Barbara Maier Gustern is in the news following recent attack on her.
Her relatives named the 87-year-old woman seriously hurt in a random shove attack on Saturday as a well-known voice coach whose students included Blondie singer Debbie Harry.
Barbara Maier Gustern, who was thrown to the ground in Chelsea by a younger lady, is still unconscious and suffering from a catastrophic brain injury, according to her grandson on Facebook.
Her assailant has yet to be apprehended.
Gustern was strolling near Ninth Avenue on West 28th Street at 8 p.m. Thursday when she was shoved from behind in an unprovoked attack, according to police.
Cops are seeking public assistance in identifying the culprit and locating her.
She was dressed in a black jacket, black leggings, a white skirt or dress, and dark colored shoes, with a light complexion and long dark hair.

Her redheaded assailant fled the scene, but the NYPD has published CCTV footage of her and is searching for her.
