Just one day after she showed him how to do it, an Australian four-year-old boy called an ambulance to help save his mother from a medical emergency.

On August 27, Monty Cocker called 999, the national emergency number, and said, “Mummy has collapsed.”

He was in the window waving to us when we arrived at the residence, according to paramedic Mark Small.

Inside the home, Monty patiently assisted the emergency personnel in determining that his mother Wendy had experienced a seizure.

Mr. Smalls praised his rapid thinking, saying that it may be extremely hazardous if you fall and hit your head or had a lengthy seizure.

Tuesday, paramedics went back to Monty’s home in Launceston, Tasmania, to give him a certificate of medical clearance.

The day before the incident, Ms. Cocker had shown Monty how to use a locked or unlocked phone to contact an ambulance. She didn’t anticipate his having to use that information so soon.

She claimed to only have vague memories of feeling ill and attempting to reach her spouse.
