Austin Blythe is an American football center for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Blythe measures up to a height of 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m) and weighs 298 lb (135 kg). Blythe was a four-year starter at Iowa, appearing in 52 games. As a senior, he aided the Hawkeyes to a 12–0 start, earning a spot in the Big Ten Championship and the 2016 Rose Bowl. At the end of his senior season, he was named to the Rimington Award, which is given to the nation’s best center every year since 1983.
